CORPORATE PHILANTHROPY - TEAM CUROCARE VISITS INDIA
- 2-6-2012
On 22 January 2012, a team of 8 managers and staff from CuroCare visited India to open a School and 2nd Orphanage that was paid for by shareholders of CuroCare. Located in the Indore area of India, the on-site Orphanages have 300 beds and the school will provide primary and secondary education for 1000 children who otherwise would not have the opportunity.
There are countless stories that need to be told about how amazing the experience was, but to begin telling this story, a short 12 minute video can be watched by clicking on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcmSwAu7IMU&feature=youtu.be.
The inauguration of the Sideras International School and Orphanage was a special moment in the lives of the children of Indore, as well as the shareholders & staff of CuroCare. It represents everything shareholders and the Sideras family believe in:- social justice, opportunity and compassion. Shareholders of Curocare would like to thank all the staff for their contribution toward generating the wealth to achieve such a noble project.
Whilst our first duty of care will always be toward our own patients, it is wonderful to know that what we do at CuroCare, is making an impact across the globe. Together, we are truly making a difference.
