A WORD FROM THE BOARD
2011 was a busy year for CuroCare cuts in fees, opening new services and enhancing our clinical team was not without its challenges.
Our philosophy has always been to listen and respond to you our customers and to constantly strive to improve our standards and offer high quality care.
To this end we have made the following improvements across our services;
- An enhanced Clinical Team – Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist and Three Assistant Psychologists joined the team.
- Review of our safeguarding procedures.
- Reviewed the way in which training is delivered, and have introduced a series of micro teaching around safeguarding, accident and incident reporting, DOLS, report writing and skin integrity.
- Micro teaching has been developed in the form of short question and answer sessions, as well as short videos demonstrating acceptable and unacceptable conduct.
- Update Audit procedures.
- There has been intensive input from an Autistic specialist, who has spent time working directly with staff and patients.
Please talk to us if you have any comments as we value your feedback.
