About Us
A leading care provider, we offer specialist services to individuals with a learning disability, associated mental illness, personality disorder and/or challenging behaviour.
We value our relationship with stakeholders and work in partnership to ensure high quality care. Care that is individual and outcome focused, allowing achievable care pathways and lifestyle opportunities.
Our team has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the delivery of high quality care as well as the design and build of services.
Commitment to Quality
We make significant investments in our commitment to quality and have strong governance mechanisms in place. Our Board place strong emphasis on the importance of quality, and actively seek excellence throughout our services. This occurs at a number of levels:
Annual staff, client, carer and purchaser surveys
We undertake annual surveys to keep them appraised of the perceptions of their key stakeholders, and then sample these views on a three monthly basis.
Staff training and professional development
Staff receive a range of mandatory training, and a full range of development opportunities are offered. Qualified Nurses receive clinical supervision, and all staff are encouraged to participate in activities to ensure the services they provide are grounded in best practice.
Seeking excellence in Human Resource (HR) practice
We consider that strong HR practices are important, and all staff receive an annual appraisal and work towards their own goals for their professional development.
Information and Technology
We understand that the provision of high quality information is integral to providing effective health care, and are constantly improving our systems and processes as technology develops.
Clinical Quality
We believe the qualities of our clinical services are second to none. NICE Guidelines are implemented, and there is a clinical audit programme for all services. In addition, the findings from such audits are used to fuel service developments where these are indicated.
Research and Development
We are developing our research skills, and are committed to embedding research findings into our services.
Environmental Quality
We realise the importance of providing functional, attractive surroundings for our clients and staff. Our company has various community premises, all of which are designed with the needs of those using the buildings at the fore.
